Job Tasks
- Develop and execute social media strategies to meet marketing and business objectives, including brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing social media content, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories.
- Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with campaign schedules.
- Engage with the online community, respond to comments, messages, and mentions, and foster meaningful interactions with followers.
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and ad creative development.
- Implement strategies to increase followers, likes, shares, and overall social media reach.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to optimize strategies.
- Manage and maintain a strong presence on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Build and nurture online communities and user-generated content to enhance brand loyalty.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to achieve specific marketing goals.
- Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility.
- Develop and implement crisis management procedures to address and resolve issues on social media promptly.
- Monitor social media conversations and sentiment to gain insights and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Effectively manage social media marketing budgets, optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
- Analyze competitor social media strategies to identify opportunities and benchmarks for success.
- Optimize social media content for SEO and discoverability, incorporating relevant keywords and hashtags.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media channels.
- Collaborate with clients or internal teams to align social media strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and educate team members or clients on best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in social media management, including strategy development and content creation.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and advertising platforms.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Project management skills to coordinate campaigns and meet deadlines.
- Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
